Compete in This Year’s ChemE Jeopardy!

Challenge your knowledge and skills against top teams in this exciting competition!

  • Fair Play: All competitors agree to follow the AIChE Code of Ethics and ensure an honest game.
  • Eligibility: Each university may provide a team of 4 to compete in the regional competition. For schools wishing to compete with a B team, they will be permitted to compete provided enough slots are available. runners-up.
  • Deadline: Register team in form below by February 21st 11:59 pm.
  • Rounds & Format:
    • Each round features 6 categories, with 5 science/engineering-related topics and one non-technical topic.
    • Includes Single, Double, and Final Jeopardy.
    • Friday will feature Preliminary and SemiFinal Rounds. The Regional Finals will be hosted on Saturday.
  • Key Rules:
    • Responses must be phrased as questions.
    • Points are deducted for incorrect answers.
    • A positive score is required to enter Final Jeopardy.
  • Timing & Buzzing:
    • Teams must buzz within 5 seconds after the clue is read and answer promptly.

Cancellations of individual registrations should be emailed to southernsrc2025@gmail.com no later than March 9th 11:59 pm will receive the opportunity for a full refund of ticket price, minus transaction fees. 

In addition, tour and workshop refunds of 10 dollars will be refunded in the form of cash when picking up registration materials at the University of South Florida 2025 Southern Student Regional Conference. 

For the chance at a refund, please list the reason for why a cancellation is requested. After March 9th, no full registration refunds will be given.
